As a co-signer of The Climate Pledge, Amazon is doing its part to encourage customers to make more sustainable purchases. Products in the Climate Pledge Friendly program are given more visibility, and see an average 12% sales increase in their first year of the program*. The ClimatePartner certified label qualifies products for Amazon's Climate Pledge Friendly program. Currently, thousands of products with ClimatePartner labels are available on Amazon. Climate Pledge Friendly is currently available in the USA, UK, Germany, Spain, and Italy, with plans to expand to Canada, Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, and many others soon.

How to get the Climate Pledge Friendly badge with ClimatePartner certified

  1. Measure your Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)
    Provide data to ClimatePartner to measure the emissions associated with your product
  2. Set and implement your emissions reduction targets
    Work with ClimatePartner to set carbon reduction targets for your product and implement reduction measures
  3. Finance climate projects
    Contribute to climate projects in the ClimatePartner portfolio
  4. Communicate transparently
    ClimatePartner creates a unique label and climate-ID page disclosing your climate action plan
  5. Submit ASINs for eligibility
    ClimatePartner submits your ASINs to Amazon for eligibility to the Climate Pledge Friendly program
